Wooden sandbox, video projection, local sand, sound
During a period of two years, found plastic bottle caps have by hand been collected from and around the city of Bergen in Norway. The caps are of a few thousands and derive
exclusively from used bottles of Norwegian-produced water.
The video originates from a 20 minutes performance were the artist lay inside a transportation box only to expose the surface of her accumulating breathing movements, concealed
under a thick dense layer of plastic caps. The sound composition derives from hydrophonic and microphonic field recordings in Northern Norway.
